Once our enrolments team has processed your registration, they will send you your official CAL Enrolment Form. This form goes through all the information we need to have you officially become a CAL student.
Once you’ve enrolled, you’re officially a CAL student – now it’s time to start studying. Log into our learning platform, connect with peers and coaches, enjoy the perks and excel at your studies.

Once you have found the right course to help you achieve your career goals, you can register for your course with your Learning Consultant. They will email you a link to our secure checkout using the Westpac payment gateway where you can choose your preferred payment option.
You can save up to 13.5% of your total fees by paying an upfront deposit on your course, or you can select the payment plan which will best suit you.

When you get to the checkout, you’ll see there’s more to it than just payment. We gather a few essential bits of information, such as:
- Confirming you’re 18+ years of age,
- If English is your first language (if it’s not, we’ll need to check your literacy and numeracy skills before you start your studies to ensure you have a smooth learning journey),
- Which payment plan you’ve chosen (if you’re not paying the full course fee upfront),
- Confirming you agree to our terms and conditions and Privacy Policy,
- And of course, making that first payment to get your study journey started.

What happens next
Once our enrolments team has processed your registration, they will email you your official CAL Enrolment Form.
ENROL
The final step is to complete your CAL Enrolment Form. This form goes through all the information we need to have you on board as a CAL student officially. Complete and return your enrolment form, and you’ll be ready to start your studies. Assuming there are no issues, your Enrolments Officer will process your enrolment within the next two business days.
Delaying your start
If you have chosen to delay your start, you’ll receive a confirmation of your expected start date and you’ll be prompted to go through the enrolment process when that date arrives. If you receive the enrolment form right after registration and you were planning to delay your study, it’s crucial that you communicate that with our team BEFORE you submit the enrolment form.
Completing your enrolment
What you need before completing the enrolment form
- Your Unique Student Identifier (USI). This is your personal ID number for your lifetime of studies. It also creates an online record of your training attainments in Australia. You’ll need this set up before you enrol as providing your USI number is part of the enrolment application form. If you have studied a nationally accredited course in Australia since 2015, you will probably already have one. If you haven’t, you’ll need to set one up.
- Prior education levels
- Medical issues or disabilities
- Your motivation for study and what you want to achieve. This is important for our Real Outcomes Guarantee and identifying whether you’ve achieved your career goals as a result of studying with us.
Once you’ve submitted this form, you’ll get a confirmation email and a copy of your enrolment form for your records.

You can withdraw within the first 30 days of your enrolment for a full refund, less a small administration fee.

A fantastic, supportive team of people who work with you to guide you through the course and are very prompt with responses to questions and queries. There are a few technical niggles, of course, as with any online system, but it is reassuring to see how well these issues are handled. Very impressed with the level of support and the detail in my course for the College of Adult Learning. As an international student I initially thought the time zones would be an issue but the entire team (special mention to Tristan, Tracey and Tom) have been phenomenal and really accommodating. I haven’t completed my course yet so can only comment on my current experience, but so far CAL have been faultless. I have enrolled myself for Cert IV in Building & Construction, where in I am very lucky to have experienced mentors like that of Mehran Babaee & Naseer Babaee. I have been a registered student of CAL for the last 2 - 3 years. As someone that had not studied for over 20 years, the first feelings I had were very daunting. However, when I began my first unit and spoke to one of the coaches, saw the enormous amount of support behind me, this definitely eased my mine and enabled me to confidently progress my way through the units. I’ve been doing a double diploma of Business at the College of Adult Learning (CAL), and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Juggling my studies, work, and a new baby has been a challenge, but CAL has been super supportive every step of the way.They’ve allowed me to take deferrals and have given me special extensions when I’ve needed them. This flexibility has made it so much easier for me to focus on my family while still making progress in my studies.The coursework is practical and relevant, and I feel like I’m gaining skills I'll actually be able to use in my job. My experience studying HR at the College of Adult Learning has been generally positive. The course offers practical and detailed content that covers a wide range of important HR topics, although some of them should be reviewed for errors. Despite this, the flexibility of the course allowed me to manage my studies around other commitments, which I really appreciated. Marrissa, my coach, has been a standout throughout the program. Her knowledge and support have been incredibly valuable, and she has a knack for helping me navigate through challenging areas. While there’s room for improvement in the overall delivery of some materials, the coaching and support from Marrissa and the flexibility of the course make it a good choice for those looking to further their HR education.

I was so nervous at completing study online for a new career direction. Fortunately, I found the best coach in the course for me (Kerri Waddell) after trying another coach who I found was most unhelpful in answering questions and supporting me. Kerri was so knowledgeable and worked with me to support me achieve my goals and progress through my course.The course content was very thorough, my only criticism of the course would be student learner packs with some errors and a lack of clear requirements at points, and some units had very stale discussion boards.Overall, I am happy with the course and support I received from CAL support team and Kerri my coach.

I found my whole experience with CAL to be a positive one. It's been many years since I have been in a "school" environment, so it took some discipline to get through this course. I set myself a 2 hour minimum study period each day which took a fair bit of effort and focus, as I work full-time plus have a family to look after. It was hard initially, but after a couple of weeks, I found my rhythm and it was smooth sailing after that. I also didn't put any pressure on myself-if I had a bad day at work-I didn't touch any study as I found no joy when I hit the books in that frame of mind, and that made it hard work. So, I found giving study a miss for one or two days actually beneficial, and when I did go back, I was more involved and interested in my course than before. I have nothing but praise for the support I received from the whole team at CAL - from the admin staff to the tutors. They responded quickly and the coaching calls helped me to get to the next questions/units quickly. A big thank you to each of you for the part you played in helping me achieve a long-held goal. I highly recommend CAL to anybody who is looking to take on some study. The content is laid out well and easily followed. The exercises for each topic and the assessments went a long way in ensuring that the information absorbed was drilled home.

I have just completed a double diploma with CAL. I found all of the staff there very supportive indeed and did not experience any rudeness whatsoever. Unforeseen circumstances meant that i had to request an extension , CAL were very professional in their response and understanding. Studying online is not for everyone and can be difficult if you are returning back to study after a long period. However CAL are there to support you it just takes a little bit of time to get a response from your coach, but once you are speaking with them they clarify and help you with your course work. I would recommend sourcing a study group either students from CAL or somewhere else where you can bounce ideas off each other regarding the course. This will help you as you work through the self directed learning and complete your tasks and activities in the course.Thanks to all the team at CAL who helped me through my course and got me to the end.

I really enjoy my studies at the college of Adult Learning, ( I am studying the double Diploma in Human Resources and Leadership Management)the trainers are helpful and very easy to talk to. It’s taken me a bit longer to complete than expected but I can go at my own pace and I now book regular coaching calls to keep me active in my studies. Over all, I’m really happy I choose this course and this college.

I’m currently doing a double diploma of construction management and Project Management. All the coaches and staff at CAL have been very helpful and the studies have been great as they provide all the text books and study resources that I need to understand all processes and regulations involved in the field I am pursuing.

I recently completed the Double Diploma in Project Management | Leadership and Management. From my initial enquiry and dealings with Tristan who was super helpful, informative and supportive, through to starting the course with the help of Student engagement coach David who helped me every step of the way and checked in to see how I was getting on, The College for Adult Learning was a fantastic learning experience which exceeded my expectations. With each Unit completed the next would be unlocked straight away and marked within the times stated (generally in half the time). The feedback from the coaches was the best of all always super encouraging and supportive but also included much needed advice in areas that may require extra study or focus. Anything I was unsure of I simply booked a time that suited me for a coach to call me to discuss anything I was unsure about. I highly rate and recommend CAL and look forward to studying with them again in the near future! Thanks so much guys !!
