while the work is very detailed its one of the most boring things that I've done.To summarize your whole experience all you'll be doing is just reading pages and pages of words then every now and then answering 5 questions followed by a multiple choice quiz that isn't really hard if you can remember or think/guess what the correct answer is.You have no contact with anyone such as a teacher checking in on your progress or anything you have to go through a support system which is fine but still.while you do have videos to watch they are very boring and more then 7+ years old. there isn't any sort of interactivity outside of the quiz and questions. that's not a good way to learn, you cant just read and answer questions and expect to pass, there needs to be more ways in the units that help you and keep your interest, seeing a big blob of text isn't fun or engaging its like what's the point. i decided that i should take notes as a way to try and help me remember.while they are lenient on how long you have (it is a online course so makes sense) it just comes down to personal will and deciding if you should work or not. if you had the right mindset and some basic knowledge on your course you could do the bare minimum that's required and finish the whole thing in like a month,while i may not be the correct target audience for this (couldn't find anything for the course i wanted to do sot his was a last ditch effort) there still is room for them to improve and work on what they have.As of writing i am only 3/9 units in to my course but i doubt my review will change any bit by the end of it

Building and Construction Cert IV course is well put together. The learning portal is easy to access and naviagate. The assessors and both knowledgable and help full. A small subset of the assessment questions could be written more clearly. Overall, I'm very happy with this self-paced course.

I recently completed the Project Management course with the College for Adult Learning and found it to be a highly valuable experience. Since finding CAL to study my current course, I have had a smooth transition from finding out information about it to starting the course - the brochures are a very simple and easy to understand read on the CAL website. The follow up call you receive to chat about the specific course is also great, what I wanted was understood and the consultant advised the best course that was fit for me for the best value for money and also the best learning value also. Once started, the Spark hubstudents portal to access everything needed to complete the course is outlined clearly, structured well and easily accessible. So far so good and the support is very much there when needed. I look forward to continuing and completing my 2 year course with CAL!

0/10 for this company, all they want is your money. Orginally was completely mislead and recommended a course that was completely irrelevant to my employment goals. I requested a course withdrawal but was denied, they then stated that another course was relevant so I was transferred I transferred, turns out this course was also a complete waste of time and money. After recently changing jobs I found a course myself that would suit me and help my future. I requested a second course transfer and was informed that I needed to schedule an over the phone discussion (this wasn’t necessary the first time I transferred) I notified them that the times they could conduct these calls would not suit me due to working 2 jobs and over 16 hour days. I was then ignored because an email discussion did not suit them. I emailed twice again following up, and was ignored. I sent another email with a company complaint and left this review. My email was again ignored, that’s 3 times!!! But they took the time to respond to my review to try and keep a positive public exposure. This shows that the company does not care about the requirements and goals for their students. They do not care unless it suits them, all they want is your money. I would not bother wasting your time with this company and whatever you do, do not invest any money into them because you will have no chance at getting it back, even when they are at fault.On top of this the few modules I did begin were a load of crap, the checkpoints required further googling and research to complete as their information slides are basic and barely include any relevant information.

A fantastic, supportive team of people who work with you to guide you through the course and are very prompt with responses to questions and queries. There are a few technical niggles, of course, as with any online system, but it is reassuring to see how well these issues are handled. I particularly want to give credit to Kerri Waddell who is enthusiastic and understanding of difficulties. I feel like I learned a huge amount during my course and am very glad to have completed it at last.

I would recommend anyone who struggles to find time to study to use the College for adult learning. Not only are they flexible but the ongoing support really does help. Special mention to Meagan and Parveen. Whos support and understanding was consistent and amazing. I advise anyone who's courses are available on their website to study through them.

Very impressed with the level of support and the detail in my course for the College of Adult Learning. As an international student I initially thought the time zones would be an issue but the entire team (special mention to Tristan, Tracey and Tom) have been phenomenal and really accommodating. I haven’t completed my course yet so can only comment on my current experience, but so far CAL have been faultless. I’m so glad I chose them and enrolled, would strongly recommend anyone looking to obtain internationally recognised and accredited certifications to apply to CAL, I have enrolled on other courses in the past and can honestly say even their response times to my queries and to marking my work have been top notch.

I have enrolled myself for Cert IV in Building & Construction, where in I am very lucky to have experienced mentors like that of Mehran Babaee & Naseer Babaee. Unlike other courses where instructors don't take deep hearted interest in setting next generation on track; ,Mehran & Naseer are very friendly, approachable, knowledge-able, inspiring & motivating for their student to make them jump the fence with gravity & content.I am 100% sure if student are going to look back in their careers and the very first faces that they are going to see will be of Mehran & Naseer as satisfactorily waving & peacefully smiling for establishing yourself as successful builders.I may not run out of words praising these two gentleman and can't commend more to have them as your career coaches with CAL. or elsewhere.Regards,Pankaj Saini

I'm currently enrolled in the Dual Diploma of Leadership and Management, and I have to say the coaching calls—especially with Kerri—are fantastic. Sometimes you just need a bit of guidance to make sure you're on the right track with your assessments, and I always leave those sessions feeling confident in the direction I'm heading. I completed my Double Diploma (Operations & Leadership/Management) with CAL learning at the end of 2024. My success is in a large part due to the wonderful coaches and comprehensive curriculum. In particular I would like to praise, Roma, Tom, Robyn, Marissa and Kerrie who I had the most one on one contact with. Their knowledge and guidance over my 2 ½ year journey was invaluable and set me up for success which has contributed to my securing a great job in Education Administration. I found CAL to be accommodating and supportive when I needed time to extend my studies due to personal family reasons. I would highly recommend this educational institute, as it gave me confidence to continue my learning journey and as a mature age student, it proved to be extremely rewarding. One of my financial mistake. The college is so bad. It's supposed to be online learning, but they want me to go to Constitution site (?) for the assessment. Also many videos are from YouTube (?) I thought the professor there that made the videosAfter that I don't have motivation to continue, and have to pay $52/week for 1.5 yrs, I can't stop it.So everyone there please see all bad reviews here before you making a mistake

As a working professional my experience with this " Education Facility" is the worst I have ever experienced.The content is pathetic.... just YouTube links of third party content, countless pdf documents with no structure.... lessons are poorly laid out, student /facilitator communication is near to zero.They are a money grabbing operation and have no time for anybody who isn't prepared to put up with their shoddy operations.I have just cancelled my course due to work pressure...after not being active for over 200 days, no questions no options , no consultation... just , "well you owe us the remainder of the balance. "The call centre were pathetic, no idea of my previous comms...Do your research, work with proper institution...even better do a Mook Course... you wont get stung by this unprofessional outfit.Really bad !!!

For a company that prides themselves as being “a college for adult learning” every part of a module you need to do a face to face simulation meeting with an assessor, which sometimes did not have times that were available.With someone that works full time and has a baby at home, this is not possible.When asking if I was able to complete the course in a different way it was denied.I had emailed my assessor last year to discuss a way to support myself in this course and I haven’t heard back.After not hearing from them for several weeks, I went with another competitor, less expensive and was able to complete my course correspondence, without the need for simulation meetings and completed the course within 6 weeks.

A Registered Training Organisation that reflects professionalism and excellence. The training material of high standard and easy to understand as well as use. The communication effective and efficient as management and staff understand the importance of applying the personal touch thus making each student feel important. I always felt motivated by the positive and timely constructive feedback. I appreciated the short turnaround time after submission of assessments. The modern learning portal makes navigation easy. The support was non-existent (for me anyway) and when asking for help, never once was reached out to. When it was finally crunch time near the end of my course I had to pay a the course fee again to continue my diploma. As an act of 'kindness' they offered 10% off a course I had already paid in full for. Not for me again, no thank you.

I have been a registered student of CAL for the last 2 - 3 years. The amount of support they shown me through some unforeseen circumstances that I have had has caused me to stop 🛑 studying and focus on what was happening in my personal life.I’m starting to come through that and I can just see a light at the end of a tunnel. I thought that after having paid off my tuition that I would not be able to complete the course that I intended on doing. As someone that had not studied for over 20 years, the first feelings I had were very daunting. However, when I began my first unit and spoke to one of the coaches, saw the enormous amount of support behind me, this definitely eased my mine and enabled me to confidently progress my way through the units. Each and every coach was very supportive, the response time was wonderful and the the units easy to follow and work at my own pace (in between work and children).I would highly recommend CAL.

I couldn’t be more happier with my experience during simulation sessions with Mrs. Roma Jaitly at college for adult learning.She was so kind and patient to me. Her coaching was engaging and effective, making learning a joy. I feel fortunate to had the opportunity to learn from such a kind coach.After several months of struggling with the first unit, I have finished it successfully and I am continuing my path with more confidence.

I have been seeing different post about Mrs Sandra Billy platform everywhere and a lot of traders keep on saying reach out to her, I eventually did and it turns out to be legit.I did an initial investment of $1000 and I received a surprised profit of $12,250 after 6days of trading, I followed her instructions with which i invested and within a week I got back my profit, I started seeing good results. Don't sign up to this college if you are expecting a teacher to be available during the day you'd like.To schedule a call with a teacher, you have to wait at least 5 days. You are studying around their schedule and not yours like was initially stated on the first phone call.Emails go unanswered for days and then when they finally get answered, the response does not answer your question. Again, something I was not expecting. It seems time wasting with having to wait for answers.Chat function is useless as they just tell you to schedule a call.During the course, you do little 'assignments' but there are zero examples to help you along with this.Videos are not done locally and just 'found' you YouTube.All the above is delaying my studying. I work full-time and now have to work around a teachers schedule instead of working off my schedule.Initially I was told that I would only have to study 4-6 hours a week and I would be done in a year. It took me 6 months to complete one subject due to the extensive assignments required and the way the teachers want everything worded. It must be written exactly how they want, otherwise, you'll have to keep making changes.In reality, the study itself doesn't take long, the assignments take months to complete!I've asked to pull out and be refunded but you're unable to be refunded. I'm really unhappy with this course.I work abroad a lot so find it difficult to study during this time as it is 24/7 work when away.I have asked to pay for the subject I Have done and be refunded on the rest but apparently that is an option and they only allow you do to this if you do it within the first 30 days. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance in the first 30 days. I had to make an unexpected trip overseas which delayed me logging in again.I have used my full differal of 3 months with travel coming up.How do we get a refund outside the 30days? Can I just pay for the pathway course and pull out of the diploma?

I have just completed my double diploma in project management and leadership management. It has a lot of information and I learned so much. The price you pay in money and mentality was worth having these two diplomas now and I can’t thank CAL enough. I have always had good experiences with the coach’s, timing and content. In the current climate, we are all facing I have found that my coach and also the student support and administration has been VERY helpful, reassuring and timely in their communication and help. I signed up with CAL to study the Double Diploma of Business Administration and HR. They advertised, “you will work directly with your own individual learning coach“ and receive “Expert and up-to-date content”. Unfortunately, I experienced multiple documents that were out-of-date including unit assessments. When I brought this to their attention, they were unapologetic regarding my time spent following this up, after I had already completing assignments to the best of my ability using content they provided. The student portal had a notice that updates were taking place, however it was not clear as to which documents were being updated. The coaches are friendly, however, I had three different coaches telling me three different requirements for a unit assessment. CAL did not facilitate an online learning environment that they advertised in this regard. I had all intentions on completing my study with CAL and had no issues with the workload itself. I do not recommend CAL and would suggest if you do sign up and have any regrets, to utilise the 30 day money back guarantee straight away. I have since withdrawn from the courses because of the ongoing issues with course content being out of date and an inconsistent coaching approach. After expressing my concerns to the institution and application to withdraw, it took several negotiations with senior management to reach an agreement of a partial refund. I will continue to actively pursue study with a more reputable institution.

Terrible experience. Scam after 30 days you don’t get your money back. Site incredibly difficult to navigate. Case studies in other sections outside of assessments with no clear direction on how to find. Limited support. Coach calls back 1-2 days after booking. Do not waste your money and if you do you can’t say you were not warned. The idea seems good but their coaches aren’t in house so you can’t chat to them for a quick simple question to help progress.

I found my whole experience with CAL to be a positive one. It's been many years since I have been in a "school" environment, so it took some discipline to get through this course. I set myself a 2 hour minimum study period each day which took a fair bit of effort and focus, as I work full-time plus have a family to look after. It was hard initially, but after a couple of weeks, I found my rhythm and it was smooth sailing after that. I also didn't put any pressure on myself-if I had a bad day at work-I didn't touch any study as I found no joy when I hit the books in that frame of mind, and that made it hard work. So, I found giving study a miss for one or two days actually beneficial, and when I did go back, I was more involved and interested in my course than before. I have nothing but praise for the support I received from the whole team at CAL - from the admin staff to the tutors. They responded quickly and the coaching calls helped me to get to the next questions/units quickly. A big thank you to each of you for the part you played in helping me achieve a long-held goal. I highly recommend CAL to anybody who is looking to take on some study. The content is laid out well and easily followed. The exercises for each topic and the assessments went a long way in ensuring that the information absorbed was drilled home.

CAL provided a great opportunity to learn at your own pace. I would highly recommend their Diploma of Project Management if you are new to the field and looking for an opportunity to learn as you do. The Diploma greatly supported the project I was working on at the time, running me through all the steps as I implemented them.

I have just completed a double diploma with CAL. I found all of the staff there very supportive indeed and did not experience any rudeness whatsoever. Unforeseen circumstances meant that i had to request an extension , CAL were very professional in their response and understanding. Studying online is not for everyone and can be difficult if you are returning back to study after a long period. However CAL are there to support you it just takes a little bit of time to get a response from your coach, but once you are speaking with them they clarify and help you with your course work. I would recommend sourcing a study group either students from CAL or somewhere else where you can bounce ideas off each other regarding the course. This will help you as you work through the self directed learning and complete your tasks and activities in the course.Thanks to all the team at CAL who helped me through my course and got me to the end.

I really enjoy my studies at the college of Adult Learning, ( I am studying the double Diploma in Human Resources and Leadership Management)the trainers are helpful and very easy to talk to. It’s taken me a bit longer to complete than expected but I can go at my own pace and I now book regular coaching calls to keep me active in my studies. Over all, I’m really happy I choose this course and this college.

I’m currently doing a double diploma of construction management and Project Management. All the coaches and staff at CAL have been very helpful and the studies have been great as they provide all the text books and study resources that I need to understand all processes and regulations involved in the field I am pursuing.

I recently completed the Double Diploma in Project Management | Leadership and Management. From my initial enquiry and dealings with Tristan who was super helpful, informative and supportive, through to starting the course with the help of Student engagement coach David who helped me every step of the way and checked in to see how I was getting on, The College for Adult Learning was a fantastic learning experience which exceeded my expectations. With each Unit completed the next would be unlocked straight away and marked within the times stated (generally in half the time). The feedback from the coaches was the best of all always super encouraging and supportive but also included much needed advice in areas that may require extra study or focus. Anything I was unsure of I simply booked a time that suited me for a coach to call me to discuss anything I was unsure about. I highly rate and recommend CAL and look forward to studying with them again in the near future! Thanks so much guys !!

Staff are very rude. Takes them a few days to reply to emails. They don’t check in on their students, their response is we don’t like to bother them. They make out that it’s your fault when you try and cancel. DO NOT STUDY HERE.
